It wasn’t long ago that we completed the website design and development for AMGI Studios’ new home site, further strengthening our client-agency relationship. This time, we had the opportunity to take on a Web3 gaming project, My Pet Hooligan. The game is in its final stages of development, having already passed the early access milestone on Steam, and is now gearing up for its full-scale launch. For that to happen, the task is clear: craft a website that serves as a presentation platform and that fully embodies the essence of the game. A custom website that feels as energetic as the game itself. Now, let’s take a look at how we brought this vision to life and go behind the scenes of building such a web experience.

Creative Concept
The game is bursting with style, featuring a vibrant, custom-designed world that feels straight out of an animated blockbuster. Its Pixar-like aesthetics come as no surprise, given that former Pixar artists played a role in its design and game development. But beyond the visuals, it’s an immersive open-world experience, offering a seamless mix of action and exploration.
Players can roam freely, shredding through the city on a skateboard, teaming up for sports, or diving headfirst into chaotic battles. The characters and in-game environments are bold, dynamic, and rich in personality, creating a universe that’s as fun to explore as it is to compete in.
All of this comes together to create a visually stunning 3D open-world game. Our goal was to take this rich, immersive universe and translate it into a custom website that reflects the game’s dynamic aesthetic and delivers a engaging user experience.
From website development to UI/UX design, we aimed for crafting a functional web platform that mirrors the game’s energy while ensuring smooth navigation and accessibility.
KEY DESIGN ELEMENTS
We started by crafting a playful gaming-inspired design elements. For example The spray paint effect in the UI elements directly references the in-game spray-painting feature Or engaging micro-animations, such as the responsive drone-like movement in the hero image that react to cursor interaction.
